  • Keyboard parameter control is a web-only feature in Tableau 2020.2, available on Tableau Server but not in Tableau Desktop.
  • Use Tab to navigate forwards through the interface and Shift+Tab to move backwards; a blue icon shows when a parameter is selected.
  • Once a parameter is highlighted, arrow keys nudge the value up and down in the increments specified by the parameter.
  • Mastering these shortcuts boosts productivity and significantly improves accessibility for users who cannot use a mouse.

In Tableau 2020.2 you can control parameters using your keyboard. On Tableau Server & tableau online. Simply use the tab key to move between controls and use the arrow keys to move the parameters in increments. Hold shit then tab to move backwards through the controls.
