How to start a performance recording in Tableau Desktop

0:00This is how you open the performance

0:02You go to help, you go to settings and

0:04and then you select to start performance

0:06recording.

0:07Once you do that, nothing happens.

0:09It essentially runs in the background,

0:10but the performance recording is running

0:12because if you go to help, go to settings

0:14and performance

0:15and stop performance recording is there,

0:17that means it's already running.

0:18To stop a performance recording,

0:20you just go up to the help option again,

0:22go to settings and performance

0:23and select stop performance recording.

0:25That's pretty much it.

0:26Now, Tableau will open up a workbook

0:29which shows you a performance recording.
