0:00In Tableau 23.3, you can now add custom

0:03data labels to your data sources with the

0:04data management add-on.

0:06You can also create custom categories. You

0:08can see here I actually have compliance

0:11categories set up and I've got two labels

0:13as part of those compliance. So PII and PHI

0:16data.

0:17That is super handy actually and to create

0:19these it's super easy just go ahead and

0:20select new label.

0:21You'll see here you get the option to

0:23choose or create the custom label category.

0:25New categories

0:26are just there and you can of course fill

0:28out this metadata here to give you the

0:30label value

0:30and you've also got the standard formatting

0:32guide that we're used to as well. What do

0:35like? Well let's go ahead to a data source.

0:39filter down to data sources and we'll go to

0:41a data source that has salespeople in it.

0:44down here it's called top salesperson and

0:46when this loads you'll see that it actually

0:48does give

0:49you the metadata about this along the top

0:51and you can see that it's already certified

0:53and it has

0:53sensitivity and compliance label. You'll

0:56see the number of labels as well
