How to attend Tableau Conference 2025 San Diego Virtually for Free

0:00Hey it's time here in today's video I'm gonna show you how to register to watch the Tableau Conference virtually next week or

0:07this week depending on what when you're watching the video.

0:10If you head to the Tablet Conference website, if you go down the page a little bit more, you'll see this little message, Tablet Conference 2025 trending on a screen near you

0:18If you click on that, you're then able to register and it sends you over to Salesforce Plus.

0:24Now Salesforce Plus is how you watch all the sessions live and it's also how you watch all the sessions on demand 24 hours after they've been recorded.

0:34And this year have it on good authority that they're recording a lot more sessions than they did last year, so there's a lot more to enjoy after the fact, and that also means a lot more to enjoy

0:43during the conference because obviously they're being recorded and I think some sessions are recorded and then put on Salesforce Plus and some sessions are recorded and streamed live on Salesforce Plus.

0:53So when you go ahead and register, uh it'll want you to log in.

0:56I'm already logged in.

0:57So you go ahead and

0:58hit register free and you're registered you can add it to your Google Calendar whatever and then basically it allows you to to basically organize things and go and manage the event as you'd want to so

1:10If I just close this, now that we're registered, we add it to the calendar, you can go and select your schedule.

1:15So you have obviously first of all different time zones.

1:18So you can see here five

1:195.

1:2045 to 6 pm GMT plus 1.

1:22Obviously that's because I'm sat in the UK looking at this website.

1:25If I was if I was sat in America, this time zone would be different

1:29this time would be different.

1:30So don't take these times as your times.

1:33These are my times depending on where I'm set.

1:35So what you can then do is you can go ahead and add these sessions as well.

1:38So if you want to watch these all online, these are all going to be available to stream and they go until at least in the UK

1:45until midnight so from about 5 pm till midnight you've got something to watch back to back here on this channel.

1:51I don't think they have any contention.

1:53I don't think they have multiple channels.

1:54They just have one schedule

1:56that's basically you know streaming all day so you can basically just tune into one channel and just watch the sessions back to back and there's a bit of fill in between sessions so

2:06Be sure to watch that out.

2:07But generally speaking, pretty much all the sessions you'd want apart from obviously day to night out and some of the other stuff is gonna be available now.

2:15In some cases, here all of these are 40-minute sessions.

2:18So it's again pretty straightforward or

2:20all the way through so Thursday you have all of this all the way again until 12 at midnight again and then you have uh Friday

2:29Which is really just the midnight sort of session.

2:32So these are the sessions going right into the end of conference, which is technically go over to the next day.

2:37So actually

2:39Good point to check.

2:40You can see that some of these sessions go into the next day.

2:43So when I said oh we have about five, six hours of content, actually I lied, we have about eight hours or seven hours of content because it carries on into the next day because I'm based in the UK.

2:52So you can add all of these to your schedule.

2:53really easy once you've added them to your schedule they obviously show up here in the schedule and then you can obviously search by speaker so if you want to look out for a specific speaker you can go ahead and do that

3:03And on demand, you'll then be able to catch the highlights or the different elements, all the community tracks, all the learning tracks.

3:11So there's quite a lot of stuff.

3:12So 11 episodes made by the community, 28 from the learning series

3:1719 from success stories and 25 basically highlights.

3:20These are going to be the sort of summarized high-level highlights.

3:23And then there's more.

3:23There's 27 from Magentic.

3:25Salesforce Unified Data Strategy has six there.

3:28So these are all going to be available a lot more sessions than last year

3:33So highly encouraged that you go ahead, sign up, get onto Salesforce Plus.

3:37I have to say Salesforce Plus is a really good streaming platform.

3:39I really wish Table had something like this all along.

3:42So you know it's not often said, but these are some of the benefits you get with a big company like Salesforce.

3:48Decent venue for streaming, online events and being involved.

3:52And I think there might even be the Slack channel again for it this year.

3:55I know there's definitely something happening with Slack, so be sure to look out for that

3:59and we might get a great chance to be able to engage with the sessions.
